This past Sunday, Macaroni KID Eugene hosted our first annual Little Elves Holiday Festival, and what a joyful afternoon it was! Families gathered to celebrate the season with festive fun, creative activities, and lots of holiday cheer—and we’re already dreaming about next year.

One of the biggest hits of the day was our hot chocolate bar, generously sponsored by Thornton Orthodontics. Guests enjoyed a variety of options, including vegan hot chocolate, vegan marshmallows, classic marshmallows, and festive peppermint marshmallows—perfect for warming up on a winter afternoon.

Kids also had a blast in the game area, featuring reindeer toss and snowball toss, sponsored by PLAY Eugene. PLAY went above and beyond by donating batting cage tokens, pint glasses, and two $25 gift cards, which we raffled off during the event—thank you for supporting local families in such a fun way!

We were thrilled to have two incredible local pediatricians leading hands-on craft activities.
- Dr. Amy Kinkel of Awesome Possum Pediatrics helped kids create adorable salt dough ornaments to take home and treasure.
- Dr. Tanya Korell of Free to Be Pediatrics guided families in making mini snow globes that added a little sparkle to the day.

Adding an extra sweet touch, Top Flight Sweets joined us with their amazing chocolate strawberry cups—an absolute crowd favorite!
Most importantly, the festival was filled with smiles, laughter, and meaningful community connection. As with any first-year event, we made notes on what we might do a little differently next time—but overall, the Little Elves Holiday Festival was a huge success, and we are so grateful to everyone who attended and supported it.
Thank you to our sponsors, vendors, and families for helping us kick off what we hope will become a beloved annual tradition. We can’t wait to bring even more family fun to the Eugene/Springfield community in the year ahead! 🎅✨
